How Bout if Jesus walked in while you were watching a movie? Would He want to sit and watch it with you? More importantly, would YOU want Him to?Hope So. Cause that will show where your heart is and if you are of a character seeking to please Him.   Since I work for Jesus, I feel led to review and recommend what Christians or young people should watch. It is a shame how Christians and parents have compromised their entertainment standards, while lowering their family or righteousness values and morals to an unspeakable level.
Preachers and laymen can no longer tell the difference in a church member and the common  movie watcher (who may have so hardened the senses that no scene or language bothers or disturbs them) or even as low as a sexual deviant. When comparing these peoples' taste in movies and the Christians', sometimes there is little difference, if any. And, regretfully a large of the time, we would get to see some of these playing if we were to visit in their homes. Plus, these people will usually not have a desire to cut it off or pause it while one of God's people visit.
Parents no longer preview movies before sitting the children down in front of them, either. Even if they do, they will play it in front of any and all around. It is as though they've had no raising, themselves. There is no shame or humility anymore, largely because of Hollywood's example.  WE have to be careful and vigilant.    Are the movies we watch reflecting what's in our hearts?
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Lest we forget, God looks on the heart.   Are we gonna be deep into some movie outa hell when God's people are called up??  Are we gonna continue to support the movies that portray Christians as rednecks, psychos or deviants. If and when there is a Christian role in movies these days,(it's a shame, but) that is what we are made out to be in most movies. That is surely blasphemy.
Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.

Most people have no idea what they are about to watch until the movie has already gotten underway. Then, they tell themselves that it's not that bad, there's only a few F or GD words, there are not many adult scenes or maybe you say it has a good story.  Just another way (but a major way) Satan has eased into our lives. We are at fault for opening a doorway to hell, subjecting our loved ones to the occult, demon possession or obsession. And God is made out to be nothing but deception. We must close this door and find decent entertainment before we lose our very souls.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,
I am embarking on a DVD Movie Review Ministry where I will personally watch and rate latest releases from the Rental Store. But, I won't be renting, reviewing and grading any obscene, profane or disrespectful movies. None I review(online) will be of any sexual nature (even heavy petting), have extremely violent content, or have much or any filthy, adult language, and no cursing of my God.
If I get one of these movies that do not have blessings but curses, I may not finish it and plan to put it on a DO NOT WATCH or Watch At Own Risk list, when I make one as such. As of now, I will put only watchable movies on my review list.
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

I am actually doing less than 1 a week. At this time, I am not going to start a DO NOT WAtch List, at least not right away. In the future, I may move the Links up or down. Keep in mind, We are still building pages.

The rating Sysyem will be up to 4 *'s, **** or up to 4 ++++. The ** will be the secular or Hollywood- style entertainment rating. This may also reflect acting, production quality, or acting talent ability. THE ++ will be of a Christian rating. The ++ will also reflect the respectful, wholesome type characters, a God loves you message or the moral lesson value.

RATING - Name of movie - Brief descrip, review.

+*** Into The Wild- The movie overall was good and morally decent with great scenery and great acting. The true story of a young man, who after having an unhappy home life and a perfect college term, was disillusioned with his soon-to-be white collar life, gave up all material things and headed out, sixties-style, to the ultimate wilderness, Northern Alaska. His unexpected trials are more than the expected ones and it turned out more surreal than he had bargained for. He was an intelligent guy with average upbringing and morals (I think). No church upbringing with no religion, except the message was he found God from his adventures, and talked to Him, wrote about Him. Very little bad language, BUT 2, 3 MF words, one, two nude scenes of hippy types. Not suitable for children, unless one can preview it first and ff past the offensive parts. Sad ending, but with good message: Don't underestimate nature and for sure, do not let overconfidence be the death of you. Rather enjoyable film and pleasing to the eye if one is a nature lover.

++** Why Did I Get Married- This film was well produced, but again the acting could have been better. It had a good message in that people need to work out their problems if they can and to treat your spose well. I enjoyed the film overall, but again it was an all-black cast geared toward the Black audience. The movie had an off-color message in that it portrayed White people as being racists/ bigots in every scene where white people were used. No Christian structure noticeable, other than one should keep the marriage vows and no one is perfect.

++*** THe Game Plan - Well produced, well acted film with a same old lost parent, child reunion. The little girl forces a life change in the father(The Rock). Touches the heart and shows him in a different role. Even tho it has a good message, it has almost no Christian value, except  toward the end. I'm always a sucker for a good ending; which it has.

+++ **** The Ultimate Gift  An extremely good movie all around. Well produced, directed as well as great acting. Memorable performances by all the actors, with Emily's character, no, not any better. Tho just as well played. The best movie I have seen in a long time. Very touching, heart -wrenching at times, with a life lesson that will soften the hardest of hearts, even surprisingly spiritual. This movie is recommended for ALL AGES. Only 3 crosses because it could give Jesus a bit more credit. Hollywood is to be commended for this one. We need more, many more like this movie. An inspiration!!

++++  **  Flywheel    Very Good Message, Touches the heart, memorable and pleasant, produced well tho not much more than B acting - Recommend highly for all groups, churches, young and old families, even singles; has family values, good morals, language, conduct; geared more toward the Christian than to the lost. Slow to start, Reg audience or teens may get bored b4 it gets to best parts. Great movie, overall!!
++*** Madea's Family Reunion - Well produced and acting is B+. Rather good Message, goes back to real family values with not sparing the rod, tho Madea somewhat enables bad behavior. THe tough love is refreshing & memorable. It's a film that has an African-American cast and seems geared to the Black audience; not necessarily a bad thing. Has value for its comedy relief and shows Madea has a good heart. On the surface, it shows strong people characters with church ties and another message to put one's faith in God.
