Gone Fishin, For Real After I ponder on it, the very question sounds absurd. Just look at both sides/ lives with an open mind to decide which is less than sensible. Take living with and for God in one hand, take living in and of the world in the other. Weigh them and consider which one makes the least sense. Scientifically separate the ups and downs, the ins and outs, the positives and negatives, the satisfaction state of each; Choose peace or violence, Love or Hate, Confidence or Fear. Freedom or Bondage. Life or Death. Consider that the Bible has never been proved wrong, while scientific theories are proved wrong on a regular basis. That's why they call them theories. I heard a question last night. It is: Does Living as a Christian make any sense? They had an answer; I do too.
Stupid question, Right?
Here we are not directly fishin for men or women.
I said directly because we should always reach out to the suffering and the lost. The title says For BBC, it does not mean British Broadcasting Co. and it isn't the Bold Body of Christ
tho I have not ruled that latter term out for another page.
Here BBC stands for bream, bass and crappy/catfish which some (a lot of us, actually) of us/ we
love to fish for. I have a passion for the looking for, the slinging out of the hook(s), the anticipation and finally, the celebrated hooking AND REELING of the cold-blooded types. I, in particular,love fishing for Bream and Crappy, first, sometimes a catfish, and then the occasional and elusive bass.
My fishin buddy, Biscuit prefers crappy first, then catfish. We get together as much as possible at the lake for some recreation and wasting time, that is, fishing. His real preference is spot fishing, mosttimes. But, he will try for other species. In 07 he caught a 9-10 lb. striper while fishin for catfish using cut bait.
We also have a yearly ritual where he,Biscuit, the Wilson clan and I get together to chase down our favorite, the spot. This consists of two or five Fridays, Saturdays plus a long weekend where we go down to the coast of southern NC for some fishing and wasting time. . We wind up talking about how stupid we are acting AGAIN. Maybe we aren't acting. I have a t-shirt that reads, 'There is a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid.' Amen.
Some of our hardcore clan even declare that the church people back home are talking about us, down here fishing on Sunday, even if it's only once a year. Maybe so. Just keep in mind, brothers and sisters, that is between God and us. Amen??? Even Jesus fished!! And I believe that God blesses the hardcore (fishermen) and the feeble-minded!!
I also have a feeling that God has a special place in His heart for the everyday fishermen/women. Well, let me hope, anyway.

God Help Us, California has finally gone completely over to being a FRuits and Nuts State!! PUN Intended!!
God DID help us in that this abominable law was voted down on election day by the people. Praise the Lord on High.
BUT These gays won't admit defeat and are protesting in the streets all over America. Some are Bullying old women and stomping on crosses!! Our Lord will make sure that they reap what they are sowing!! Let them go down to the black neighborhoods and protest with such behaviors. All America will have to change the homosexuals' names from gays to SADS. LOL.

We need to pray that these states' foolish actions don't bring God's wrath on them with many innocents to pay the cost too!! Hopefully, there will be no more states following this awful path of the INFAMOUS, Sodom and Gommorah cities.
